Punjabi global sensation Diljit Dosanjh has rewritten the record books once again, this time setting a new benchmark in North America. The singer-actor’s upcoming Aura World Tour has registered the largest live tour pre-sale ever for a South Asian artist on the continent, with more than 1,30,000 tickets sold within just 48 hours.
The overwhelming response underscores Dosanjh’s expanding international footprint and the growing global appeal of Punjabi music. The 13-city North American leg will see him perform at some of the most prestigious venues across the United States and Canada.
Among the marquee stops are two back-to-back nights at Madison Square Garden in New York and performances at Chase Center in San Francisco. The tour will also mark a major stadium return to BC Place, further cementing his status as one of the few Punjabi artists capable of filling large-scale arenas overseas.
This is not the first time Dosanjh has shattered attendance records. In November 2025, he made history in Australia by drawing more than 90,000 fans across stadium shows in Sydney and Melbourne, becoming the first Punjabi performer to headline and sell out major stadium venues in those cities.
The Aura World Tour follows the massive success of his 2024 Dil-Luminati Tour, which was widely regarded as a landmark moment for Punjabi music on the global concert circuit. With his signature blend of folk-rooted melodies, contemporary production, and high-energy stage presence, Dosanjh is expected to deliver an immersive live experience for fans.
Industry observers say the rapid sell-out reflects both his dedicated fan base and the rising influence of South Asian artists in mainstream international markets. As anticipation builds, the North American leg of the Aura World Tour is shaping up to be another milestone in Dosanjh’s already record-breaking career.
