Diljit Dosanjh Kolkata Concert Latest News: Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh’s Kolkata concert, part of his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024, turned into a memorable evening for fans of both Diljit and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. During the electrifying performance, Diljit invoked the Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) famous IPL tagline, “Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re” (We will do it, we will fight, we will win), leaving the audience cheering.
Taking to social media, Diljit shared a clip explaining his admiration for the powerful slogan and its connection to Shah Rukh Khan, KKR’s owner. “‘Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re’ is such a wonderful tagline. It belongs to the Kolkata Knight Riders. Since it’s Shah Rukh Khan sir’s team, it naturally feels special. I’m a huge fan of his. This tagline is also a great mantra — work hard, fight together as a team, and give your 100 percent. When you put in full effort, victory has no choice but to come to you,” Diljit said.
The singer also expressed his love for Kolkata, famously known as the “City of Joy,” and reflected on the city’s rich cultural heritage. He praised its luminaries, including spiritual leaders and Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Sharing a touching anecdote about Tagore, he said, “I read that someone once suggested Tagore write a world anthem since he had penned the national anthem. His response was profound — he said Guru Nanak Dev Ji had already written it in the 15th century.”
