“Today’s concert is dedicated to the late former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh,” said Diljit. “He lived a very simple life. Even when people hurled abuses at him, he never responded in the same manner. In the field of politics, it is very difficult to refrain from such things.”

Political leaders fight like kindergarten students,” he remarked, adding, “But Dr. Manmohan Singh ji never engaged in such acts. This is what we should learn from him.”
Emphasizing the importance of patience and focus, Diljit urged the youth to adopt Dr. Singh’s principles. “Even though the world may try to instigate you or hurl abuses, you must not respond in kind. Focus on your goals. Keep one thing in mind: those who hurl abuse at you are also a form of God. They are simply testing you,” he said.
