Fans will be pleased to learn that Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira's Jodi has a release date. The major Punjabi industry superstar, who will share the big screen for the first time with the film Jodi, is set to hit the theatres on May 5, 2023. The team announced the news on its official social media channels. The film, which has been produced by Daljit Thind and Karaj Gill, has been written and directed by none other than prolific filmmaker Amberdeep Singh.
Previously, the stars shared the first look at the film Jodi. The singer could be seen in the sneak peek sporting a red lungi and an orange kurta. While Nimrat was wearing a red and green suit, Diljit completed his appearance with a red turban and was seen standing on a stage. Additionally, she accessorised her look with complementary jewellery and had her hair up in a tidy bun.
Whereas in the new poster, we saw some musical notes and an old tape. It fuels speculation that a film's main eye-catching point is music and songs. It has also been reported that the film includes 16 songs, all of which were produced by Tru Skool. But the exact numbers have not been provided.

Moreover, the film will be released under the banners of Thind Motion Films and Rhythm Boyz. The film was earlier scheduled to release in 2020, then postponed to 2021, and after that, 2022. But due to some changes, it could not see the daylight. Now, the film is slated to hit theatres on May 5, 2023.
