The much-anticipated sequel to the 2005 blockbuster comedy No Entry has hit an unexpected hurdle. Popular singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, who was set to be a part of the film, will no longer feature in the project.

Producer Boney Kapoor confirmed the development, clarifying that the decision was taken amicably. “Yes, we have parted ways on this film in good faith. The schedules weren’t matching up with our requirements. But we hope to collaborate soon, perhaps on a Punjabi project,” Kapoor said.

Industry sources revealed that Dosanjh’s upcoming Aura Tour across Australia and New Zealand, scheduled between October 26 and November 13, overlapped with the film’s shooting timeline. The clash made it impossible for him to continue with the film.

While fans will be disappointed by Dosanjh’s exit, Kapoor assured that work on the sequel will continue as planned. The project, bringing back the charm of the original comedy, has already generated significant buzz, and the makers are expected to announce further updates soon.
