New Delhi: Punjabi music sensation Diljit Dosanjh is bringing his live act back home with the announcement of his Aura India Tour, a multi-city concert series that will cover seven destinations across the country later this year.
The singer’s India tour is scheduled to begin in Delhi on November 1, before moving through Indore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Lucknow. Chandigarh is also part of the itinerary, but organisers have yet to disclose the date or location for the show.
The scale of the venues suggests that the tour is being planned as a major live-music spectacle. Diljit will open the India leg at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi, while the Indore concert is slated for C21 Estate.
From there, the tour will head to Ahmedabad, where the singer is scheduled to perform at the Narendra Modi Stadium on November 21. Mumbai will host the next show on November 27 at Mahalaxmi Race Course, followed by Bengaluru on November 29 at Nice Grounds.
The final announced performance is set for December 5 in Lucknow, at the 19th National Jamboree Ground.
Ticket bookings to open this week
Fans will not have to wait long to secure tickets. The first booking window has been reserved for RuPay credit cardholders, with the exclusive pre-sale beginning on October 6 at noon.
The wider ticket sale will follow on October 9 at 2 pm, opening bookings to the general public. As per the tour announcement, tickets will be available through BookMyShow, while BookMyShow Live is handling the production and promotion of the concerts.
The event has Chivas as its presenting partner, with Mirchi serving as the media partner and Live Nation associated with the tour.
Chandigarh remains the missing piece
Although Chandigarh has been named among the tour destinations, details surrounding the city’s concert remain under wraps. Both the date and venue have been listed as “Coming Soon” and TBA, respectively.
The announcement comes as Diljit continues to strengthen his reputation as one of Punjabi music’s biggest international performers. His concerts have increasingly attracted audiences beyond the Punjabi-speaking community, helping establish him as a major name in the global live-music circuit.
The Aura India Tour will give his domestic audience another opportunity to experience his trademark combination of Punjabi hits, energetic stage performances and large-scale concert production.
For fans planning to attend, the immediate dates to mark are October 6 for the RuPay-exclusive pre-sale and October 9 for general ticket bookings.
