Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh expressed heartfelt appreciation for American host Jimmy Fallon following his recent appearance on the popular late-night program The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Taking to social media, Dosanjh posted a behind-the-scenes clip from the show and thanked Fallon for offering him an international platform to showcase Indian culture. In his message, the artist described Fallon as someone with a “positive aura” and conveyed his gratitude for the warm reception he received on the show.
The video shared online captured a cheerful moment between the two, as Fallon welcomed Dosanjh with enthusiasm. The interaction soon turned playful, with the duo breaking into energetic Bhangra steps, reflecting a vibrant cultural exchange on set.
During the episode, Dosanjh spoke about his musical journey and highlighted a recent concert in Vancouver that held deep emotional significance for him. He referenced the historical Komagata Maru incident, explaining how performing near the site where Indian migrants once faced exclusion made the experience particularly meaningful. He also delivered a performance of his track “Morni,” which drew attention from the live audience.
This marked Dosanjh’s second appearance on the show, following his debut in 2024 when he performed popular songs and was introduced as a leading global Punjabi artist.
Beyond his music, Dosanjh continues to remain active in cinema. He was recently seen in the war drama Border 2, which performed strongly at the box office. Looking ahead, he is set to collaborate once again with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali for the upcoming film Main Vaapas Aaunga, a project set against the backdrop of India’s partition.
With growing international visibility, Dosanjh’s latest appearance further underscores his expanding global reach and his efforts to bring Punjabi music and culture to wider audiences.
