Diljit Dosanjh Latest News: Kicking off the India leg of his Dil-Luminati tour, Diljit Dosanjh captivated fans with two back-to-back shows in Delhi over the weekend.
At his second performance, held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the Punjabi sensation appeared in a traditional white dhoti-kurta, paired with his signature aviator shades and turban.
Addressing the massive crowd, Diljit encouraged fans, “Dream big. If I can inspire people to speak Punjabi, you can achieve anything.”
Performing for approximately 40,000 fans, he fondly recalled his mother, attributing his choice to speak Punjabi to her influence, and expressed deep respect for India’s linguistic diversity.
"I respect all languages, but since my mother spoke Punjabi, it’s my language too," he shared, before exclaiming, "Punjabi aa gaye Delhi oye!"
