Punjabi cinema is expected to be extremely competitive in the year 2023. In Pollywood, Punjabi movie releases often occur over a period of one to two weeks, but this year, two of the movies will be released on the same day. And it is none other than the two huge films Blackia 2 and Jodi.

For the unversed, Jodi features Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira while Blackia 2 stars Dev Kharoud. Let’s shed some light on their release date and other information. 

After much anticipation, the makers of Jodi have finally unveiled the release date of the film. Jodi which has been postponed several times is slated to hit the theatres on May 5, 2023. In addition to having Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira as the leads, the movie is expected to have excellent music. 

This is also the first time Diljit Dosanjh would appear in an Amberdeep Singh movie, and so on. Fans are very excited about this film to watch this Jodi for the first time on big screens. The film will be released under the banner of rhythm Boyz Entertainment and Thind Motion. 

Whereas, while speaking Blackia 2, it is the sequel to the 2019 superhit film Blackia 2, which has also gotten the same releasing date. The film which stars Dev Kharoud has been directed by Navaniat Singh. The mares dropped the announcement through a motion poster that took social media with the stir. Moreover, the film is based on a true event. It has also been noted that Blakia 2 is scheduled to release under the banner of Ohri Production and is produced by Vivek Ohri.

Fans are now waiting to see which film will receive a positive response. Though the makers still have six months to change their release date. All we have to do now is wait and see what happens at the box office.
