Diljit Dosanjh’s Wax Statue Unveiled in Delhi Today

Popular actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh is the most recent entry in the list of celebrities who have wax models of their own at the prestigious museum of Madame Tussauds, Delhi. The statue of the star has been unveiled today in Delhi. Diljit Dosanjh has shared this ‘good news’ with his fans by posting pictures on his social media handle.

The star has not only done fabulous work in the Punjabi industry, but has also made his feet strong in Bollywood. The unveiling of Diljit’s wax statue had been scheduled for 28 February 2019, but it had to be postponed to 28 March 2019, due to the war hysteria created in the country. Diljit’s statue has been placed in the music zone of the Madame Tussauds Delhi. The specialist team took over 200 measurements of the actor and numerous photographs in order to produce his wax figure. Diljit’s statue stands amongst the wax statues of eminent personalities such as Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and many more.

Diljit has become a Bollywood sensation now and is going strength to strength in both the industries. He has done stupendous films like Soorma, Udta Punjab and Phillauri and has won critical acclaim for his work. Diljit’s figure has become the the first turbaned figure in Madame Tussauds, Delhi. This has made the the industry and the fans very happy and proud.

On the work front, Diljit will be seen in the Punjabi film Shadaa this year. He would also be seen in the Bollywood project Good News, which also stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Kiara Advani. Other than this, he will also play the lead opposite Kriti Sanon in the Bollywood movie Arjun Patiala.
