The talent machine and the action hero of the Punjabi industry, Dev Kharoud, has made his feet firm in the Punjabi industry with his immense talent. After making superhit gangster based movies, the actor is all set for his first cop based film. The title of the film is DSP Dev and Dev Kharoud will be seen playing the character of a DSP in the movie.

Dev Kharoud has already won the audience’s hearts with his versatile acting and his great work in the industry and is very excited for his this character as he will be playing a cop for the first time. The film has been directed by Mandeep Benipal, who has directed superhit films like Kakaji and Dakuaan Da Munda. This movie will be Dev Kharoud and Mandeep Benipal’s third film together. In a recent interview, director Mandeep Benipal said that the film will be very different from other cop films and will serve something fresh and original to the audience. Also he said that he is very happy with the team’s performance and is super confident about Dev’s role and acting.

The film will be based on Dev Kharoud’s character- Dev Shergill, who has always coveted the job for the power it demanded, and how his life changes after his father’s death. Polished and celebrated actor Manav Vij will be playing the negative lead in the movie. In a recent interview, Manav Vij said that this movie is definitely going to set a new milestone in the Punjabi movie industry. ‘Phillauri’ actress Mehreen Pirzada will make her Punjabi acting debut with this film as she will play the female lead opposite Dev Kharoud in the movie.

Produced under the banner of Dream Reality Films, Ravneet Chahal and White House Studios, the film will be an intense action thriller and will keep the viewers on the edge of their seats. The makers are confident that the film will have larger than life action which has never been seen before in the Punjabi cinema. The film will hit the screens on 5 July and the team as well as the fans are super excited for the release.
