The excitement surrounding Bigg Boss 20 continues to build as the makers unveiled a fresh teaser featuring longtime host Salman Khan. While the promo keeps most details under wraps, it offers what appears to be the biggest clue yet about the upcoming season's central concept.
In the latest teaser, Salman Khan hints at a new twist with the words "Ek Vardaan", suggesting that the milestone 20th season could introduce a unique gameplay element. Although the promo stops short of explaining its significance, the phrase has already fuelled widespread speculation among fans.
Viewers are now debating whether the "Vardaan" will grant contestants special privileges, immunity from elimination, strategic powers, or another unexpected advantage capable of reshaping the competition. For now, the makers have chosen to keep the mystery alive, adding to the anticipation ahead of the season's launch.
Despite releasing multiple promotional videos, the show's creators have not yet announced the official theme or confirmed the list of contestants. Several celebrities, including Jannat Zubair, Faisal Shaikh (Mr Faisu), Nia Sharma and comedian Sunil Pal, have been rumoured to join the reality show. However, no official confirmation has been made regarding the final lineup.
Salman Khan is set to return as the host once again, extending his long-standing association with one of Indian television's most popular reality franchises.
The previous edition, Bigg Boss 19, concluded after more than 100 days of intense competition, emotional moments and dramatic twists. Actor Gaurav Khanna emerged as the winner after defeating Farhana Bhatt in the grand finale, taking home the trophy along with a cash prize of ?50 lakh.
The season also featured finalists including Pranit More, Tanya Mittal and Amaal Mallik, with shifting alliances and heated confrontations keeping audiences engaged throughout its run.
With the countdown now underway, expectations for the landmark 20th season are steadily rising. Bigg Boss 20 is scheduled to premiere on September 6, streaming daily on JioHotstar at 9 pm and airing on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
