Episode 5 Of The Punjabi Cinema Show: The fifth episode of our podcast series confers about Jee Aayan Nu and Asa Nu Maan Watna Da.

In what is a pretty self-descriptive title, Episode 5 deals with our nostalgia around two memorable Punjabi movies namely 'Jee Aayan Nu' (2002) and 'Asa Nu Maan Watna Da' (2004). In addition to witnessing director Manmohan Singh making a directorial comeback, these movies had also kick-started the acting career of Harbhajan Mann.

Made at a time when nothing else was being made in the Punjabi film industry, Jee Aayan Nu and Asa Nu Maan Watna Da will always remain special for the Punjabi viewers. Moreover, given the stature of these movies and the names involved, they deserved an episode in The Punjabi Mania Show.
