The buzz in Punjabi cinema just got louder! Actress and singer Shehnaaz Gill is all set to feature in the highly anticipated Punjabi film Singh vs Kaur 2, joining Gippy Grewal in the sequel to the 2013 blockbuster Singh vs Kaur.
Directed by Navaniat Singh, the upcoming film promises to bring back the laughter, drama, and heartwarming storytelling that made the original a hit. Alongside Gippy Grewal, the sequel will also feature talented actors Raghveer Boli, Gurpreet Bhangu, and Rupinder Rupi in pivotal roles.
While the makers have remained tight-lipped about Shehnaaz Gill’s character, her recent appearance in Chandigarh has further confirmed the reports. The Honsla Rakh actress took to Instagram to share a joyful video from the city, radiating excitement and nostalgia. Her caption, “Chandigargh - the place where soul feels like at home”, hinted at something special brewing—and now fans know why.
Known for her magnetic screen presence and lovable persona, Shehnaaz’s inclusion in the cast has already ignited excitement across social media.
Produced under the banner of Humble Motion Pictures, Singh vs Kaur 2 aims to recapture the charm of its predecessor while introducing fresh twists and a contemporary narrative. With shooting currently underway in and around Punjab, the film is slated for a 2025 release.
