The family of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala has announced the schedule for the recitation of Shri Sehaj Path Sahib to honour his legacy on his death anniversary.
According to the announcement shared by the family, the religious gathering will be organised on May 28, 2026, in Mansa. The event is expected to witness the participation of relatives, admirers and supporters of the late artist from across Punjab and other parts of the country.
The statement issued by Charan Kaur remembered Sidhu Moosewala, whose real name was Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, as a beloved son and artist whose legacy continues to live on in the hearts of millions.
Born on June 11, 1993, Moosewala was shot dead on May 29, 2022, in Punjab’s Mansa district, an incident that sent shockwaves through the music industry and sparked widespread outrage among fans worldwide.
The memorial ceremony will include recitation of Shri Sehaj Path Sahib, followed by antim ardas prayers. Family members have invited people to attend and pay tribute to the singer’s memory.
Even years after his death, Sidhu Moosewala remains one of the most influential figures in Punjabi music, with his songs continuing to attract massive global audiences and his fan base remaining deeply connected to his legacy.
