The Punjabi film makers are becoming experimental with their choice of films that they make. Different concepts, fresh themes, conventional ideas and unique and new stories are being picked for making films. Now Punjabi films are not only restricted to family drama and comedy, but a lot new genres are being explored by the filmmakers. The first look poster of one more such film is out. The title of the movie is Mitti- Virasat Babbaran Di.

This film is the debut production venture of the Bollywood legend Hema Malini. The movie has been directed by Hriday Shetty and will also mark his directorial debut in the Punjabi cinema. The film will be an intense and serious drama with elements of patriotism. The movie will showcase the story of bravehearts. According to sources, the movie has been inspired by true events.

The movie has a stellar lineup of actors including Rabbi Kandola, Kuljinder Sidhu, Japji Khaira, Jagjeet Sandhu, Nishawn Bhullar, Dheeraj Kumar, Pali Sandhu and Aakanksha Sareen. The story will be an inspiring one with a positive message. The story of the film will be based on five Sikhs who fight and sacrifice their lives for the country. The film is set in Punjab against the backdrop of terrorism and drug menace.

Being made under the banner of H.M Creations in association with Uttara Foods And Feeds Pvt. Ltd., the film will hit the screens on 23 August this year. The first look poster of the movie is out and the makers will soon be releasing the teaser of the film. The entire team is very excited for the project and is looking forward to it’s release.
