Amid an escalating social media controversy, Canada-based content creator Freshy Canadian has publicly extended support to Punjabi actor Gurpreet Ghuggi, urging critics to wait for clarity before drawing conclusions.
In a statement shared online, Freshy Canadian appealed for patience, asserting that the full facts surrounding the issue would come to light within 24 hours. Without elaborating further, he suggested that those engaging in online criticism would soon receive a response through unfolding developments rather than direct rebuttals.
The influencer also appeared to criticise individuals who, according to him, had changed their stance during the controversy. He hinted that those switching sides opportunistically would eventually be held accountable as more details emerge.
The dispute stems from allegations circulating on social media claiming a personal relationship between Ghuggi and an actress, along with accusations of a financial settlement to suppress the matter. Ghuggi had earlier dismissed these claims, calling them unfounded and misleading.
Freshy Canadian, who is originally from Punjab and now based abroad, is known for his digital content across platforms such as YouTube and Instagram. His intervention has added a new dimension to the ongoing debate, drawing attention from both supporters and critics.
As discussions continue online, Ghuggi has already approached cyber authorities regarding the matter, while further developments are expected in the coming days.
