Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chalaangaan Maardi: Ammy Virk and Binnu Dhillon to reunite in leading capacity in Smeep Kang's next

Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chalaangaan Maardi: White Hill Studios have announced a two-hero movie slated to release in 2023.

Seasoned actors Ammy Virk and Binnu Dhillon will reunite on the silver screens after as many as seven years in the recently announced Punjabi movie titled 'Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chalaangaan Maardi'.

The two have worked together in Simerjit Singh's 'Angrej' (2015) and Pankaj Batra's 'Bambukat' (2016) in the past. While Virk was last seen in a cameo apperance in Manvir Brar's 'Lekh' this year, Dhillon's last movie was Batra's 'Fuffad Ji' (2021).

Ace director Smeep Kang, who had directed Dhillon in his last movie titled 'Naukar Vahuti Da' (2019), will be directing Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chalaangaan Maardi. It is noteworthy that the movie will become Virk and Kang's first-ever collaboration.

Kang, who has made his directorial debut in the digital space with the recently released 'Ki Banu Punia Da', already has a long list of unreleased Punjabi movies.

Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chalaangaan Maardi will be produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Singh Sidhu under the banner of White Hill Studios. The renowned production house had last worked with Virk and Dhillon in 'Muklawa' (2019) and 'Carry On Jatta 2' (2018) respectively.

While the makers have refrained from announcing the female leads and other members of the cast, they sure have confirmed a release date for Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chalaangaan Maardi.

Scheduled to release on June 9, 2023, Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chalaangaan Maardi has become the fifth Punjabi movie to have a 2023-release date. Virk-starer 'Arjan Tina' and Kang's 'Carry On Jatta 3' (starring Dhillon) are among the five Punjabi movies (for now) which will release next year.
