Slated to release on 31 August 2018, Gippy Grewal starrer ‘Mar Gaye Oye Loko’ is a Simerjit Singh directorial, written and produced by Gippy Grewal himself. B-Town actresses Sapna pabbi, who is the main lead opposite Gippy Grewal would be making her Punjabi debut with this movie. The king of comedy, Binnu Dhillon would be seen as the second lead in the movie. Other than the lead actors, the starcast of the movie includes a stellar lineup of actors like Jaswinder Bhalla, BN Sharma, Gurpreet Ghuggi and Karamjit Anmol.

The concept of the movie is very unusual and different from the rest of the Punjabi cinema. Earlier many Punjabi movies have been made on superheroes and superpowers but this movie is based on ‘parlok’ , the fairy land, and because no one has ever seen the parlok, the movie displays a vision that how parlok of Punjab can be in a comical way. In an interview with Punjabi Mania, Gippy said that this movie is his way of thinking how parlok can be and it is his imagination of parlok. He said that he has added many elements in the movie for the children. This concept has not been touched by any other Punjabi movie.

After Ardas and Manje Bistre, this movie would be the third movie made under Gippy Grewal’s home producton house, Humble Motion Pictures. The trailer of the movie has got an extremely impressive response and has created a buzz amongst the fans. The trailer has already received more than 8 million views on YouTube. The makers have released five songs from the movie and all five have been sung by the top league singers of the industry. All the songs are getting a lot of love from the audience and are ruling the charts. The music of the film will prove to be a major attraction for the audience. The fans are very excited for the film and have high expectations and are expecting that this movie would match the level of the other Gippy Grewal movies.
