Punjabi industry’s most loved singer and actor Gippy Grewal is all geared up to begin the shoot of his next movie Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh. Sargun Mehta would be starred opposite Gippy in the film. This pair would be a fresh on-screen couple as they would be working together in a movie for the first time.While old jodis recreate their magic and charm, new on screen pairs bring a breath of fresh air for the audience and many new on-screen jodis are being made in Punjabi cinema in the current time.

According to reports, the shoot of the movie will start in September and the movie will hit the silver screen next year in June.Currently Both the stars are busy with their other projects. Gippy Grewal’s movie ‘Mar Gaye Oye Loko’ which had released today is getting a lot of love from the audience. Sargun Mehta’s next movie ‘Qismat’ will release in this September. The trailer of Qismat is out and has created a buzz amongst the audience in no time. Sargun Mehta has also signed Binny Dhillon’s production venture ‘Kala Shah Kala’ which will release next year and would have Sargun and Binnu as the lead pair.

The title of the movie ‘Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh’ suggests that the film would be based on journey and would be related to these two cities.The audience is very excited to see their favourite actors, Gippy and Sargun in a single frame.
