The desi rockstar of the Punjabi industry and the multi talented artist Gippy Grewal is having a lot on his platter this year. Recently we had shared the news that Gippy Grewal’s own production house, Humble Motion Pictures will collaborate with T-Series for two projects. The first project has been disclosed by the makers. The title of the movie is Daaka and Gippy Grewal will play the lead in the film.

Zarine Khan, who has played popular roles in many Bollywood and Punjabi films will play the female lead opposite Gippy Grewal in the movie. Zarine Khan has already worked with Gippy in the superhit Punjabi film Jatt James Bond and had received a lot of appreciation for her on-screen chemistry with Gippy Grewal. The film is being made under the banner of Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in association with Humble Motion Pictures. The film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Gippy Grewal and Ravneet Kaur Grewal.

Ace director of the industry, Baljit Singh Deo, who has worked with Gippy in the Manje Bistre series, will direct this movie. Gippy Grewal has himself written the the story of the film and Naresh Kathooria has written the dialogues of the movie. The first poster of the film is out. The title of the movie ‘Daaka‘ which means ‘robbery’ sounds very interesting and suggests that the film will have a different and fresh plot, theme and storyline.

The film will soon go on the floors. The release date of the movie has not been revealed yet. Other than this film, Gippy Grewal will be seen in Manje Bistre 2, Ardaas 2 and Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh this year. The fans are eagerly waiting for all his upcoming projects and looking forward to more details of this movie. The audience is excited to see the Jatt James Bond jodi, once again on the big screen.
