Gippy Grewal announces release date of 'The Main Man'

The Main Man: The upcoming music album of Punjabi superstar Gippy Grewal is all set to be made public next month.

Punjabi superstar Gippy Grewal was among the various artists who had announced new music albums during the COVID-19 lockdown earlier this year.

While tried and tested names in Diljit Dosanjh, Tarsem Jassar, Maninder Buttar and Himmat Sandhu have already released their full albums or a music video from them, one feels Grewal's music album titled 'The Main Man' will be the next one to woo the listeners.

The Main Man

Grewal took to his social media handles to announce the release date of The Main Man. It is worth mentioning that only the music video of the first song of The Main Man will release on September 9. The full album will be made available to listen on September 22.

Contrary to his own label of Humble Music, The Main Man will release on the official YouTube channel of Geet MP3. Grewal, whose last album titled 'Desi Rockstar 2' had released in 2016, will release an album after four years.

The huge gap isn't a surprise because of how hectic Grewal's schedule usually is under normal circumstances. Given the multiple hats that he wears in the Punjabi film industry, one understands why creating a music album was among the least of his priorities.

From 'Nach Nach' alongside 12 other artists to 'Sone Di Dabbi' alongside Gurlez Akhtar, Grewal released as many as six single tracks during the COVID-19 lockdown. Having provided enough content to his fans in the build-up to The Main Man, it will be intriguing to see what Grewal offers with his 11th music album.
