The zealous and one of the most talented artists of the Punjabi industry- Gippy Grewal is once again ready with a bang as he recently announced his new production project. Gippy took it to his social media handles to share the news of the new film with his fans. The actor made the official announcement about the film in the evening today.

After delivering back to back films, and announcing many new upcoming projects including a web series titled Warning, Gippy Grewal is all set to produce his next film. The title of the movie is Posti which is a Punjabi word meaning a drug addict. The first look poster of the film has been unveiled, and it promises a unique and different storyline.

The highlight of the movie is that the ultra talented writer, director, comedian and actor- Rana Ranbir will be helming the project as he has written the story of the film and will be directing the movie. Rana Ranbir is a vital part of every Gippy Grewal film and had also written the screenplay of Gippy’s blockbuster film Ardaas Karaan, which had released in July this year. In this coming project, Rana Ranbir is the captain of the ship and he will definitely steer it in the best way.

The movie is being made under the banner of Gippy’s home production house- Humble Motion Pictures and will be produced by Gippy Grewal. No other detail including the release date or the starcast have been disclosed yet. It has been confirmed in the poster that the film will hit the screens in the year 2020.

The poster of the film is very interesting and it features a cycle and a man lying on the ground. The face of the man has not been revealed in the poster. The fans are very keen to know whether the lead in the film will be played by Gippy Grewal or any other actor. The tagline of the film- “Amli te chhade bande khaas hunde rabb de” has also managed to intrigue the audience. The fans are looking forward to more details about the film.
