The dark and intense action thriller- Daaka is one of the most awaited films of the year. The official teaser of the film has been released by the makers and the teaser has definitely managed to intrigue the audience. The film is of a different and a fresh genre, as very few action thrillers are made in the Punjabi film industry which is flooded with period dramas, romantic comedies and family dramas.

The film stars the real hero of the industry- Gippy Grewal in the front lead. Along with becoming a better actor, Gippy has also mastered the art of film story and screenplay writing. The story and the screenplay of Daaka has been written by Gippy Grewal.

The film has been directed by the Manje Bistre director, Baljeet Singh Deo. Naresh Kathooria has written the dialogues of the film. Bollywood and Punjabi actress, Zareen Khan will be playing the female lead opposite Gippy in the film. Gippy and Zarine have earlier worked together in the 2014 superhit film Jatt James Bond, and share a great onscreen chemistry.

The film has been made under the banner of Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with Humble Motion Pictures and has been bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Gippy Grewal and Ravneet Kaur Grewal. This is Gippy Grewal and Bhushan Kumar’s first production collaboration and according to sources, they both shall collaborate for one more project which will be helmed by Smeep Kang.

The teaser is unique, interesting and different loaded with larger than life action. Gippy Grewal has adorned a different and interesting look for the film and the fans are excitedly looking forward to the trailer to get a better insight into the film. The movie is all set to hit the screens on 1 November 2019 and the team is getting geared up for the release of the film.
