In this season of light, everyone’s favourite- Gippy Grewal is all set to shine for his fans as he has just treated his fans by revealing the first glimpse of his next production venture Manje Bistre 2 which is a sequel of the blockbuster movie Manje Bistre that had released in 2017. Manje Bistre 2 has been slated to release on 12 April next year. On the occasion of Diwali, the makers released the pre-teaser of the much awaited movie as a diwali gift for the fans.

The movie has been made under the banner of Humble Motion Pictures, which is Gippy Grewal’s own production house. After Ardaas, Manje Bistre and Mar Gaye Oye Loko, this would be the fourth movie that is being made under the banner of Humble Motion Pictures. Like the first part of the movie, the sequel stars Gippy Grewal as the main lead actor and the movie has been directed by Baljit Singh Deo.

Unlike the first part, the sequel has been set in Canada. The pre teaser shows two government officials who visit a village and find out that all the houses are locked and everyone has gone to Canada to collect Manje Bistre. The teaser shows Gippy Grewal performing the age old tradition of collecting Manje Bistre and the teaser also has a part of the title song of the movie. The movie will revolve around the concept of staying attached to the roots and will show that how punjabis have not forgotten their traditions even in a foreign country.

This much anticipated film stars Simi Chahal in the main lead opposite Gippy Grewal. It is for the first time that they both will be seen sharing space on the silver screen. The story and the screenplay of the movie is by Gippy Grewal himself and the dialogues have been written by Naresh Kathooria. Through this teaser, the fans were able to witness a glimpse of the film and get an idea about the theme of the movie. The makers have promised a fresh story line and the audience is very excited for the trailer release of the movie.
