The multi talented artist of the Punjabi industry- Gippy Grewal is ready to release the sequel of his 2016 superhit film Ardaas. The title of the second installment in the Ardaas Series is Ardaas Karaan. The film is a Humble Motion Picture presentation, written, directed, and produced by Gippy Grewal, and co-produced by Ravneet Kaur Grewal. Gippy Grewal has written the film’s story and screenplay whereas the dialogues of the movie have been written by Rana Ranbir.
The film stars a lineup of illustrious actors including Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Meher Vij, Sapna Pabbi, Malkeet Rauni, Rana Jung Bahadur, Meher Vij, Kuljinder Sidhu, Japji Khaira, Yograj Singh and Sardar Sohi. The highlight of the film is that Gippy Grewal’s younger son, Gurfateh Singh Grewal aka Shinda Grewal, will be seen playing an important role in the film. This movie will mark Shinda Grewal’s debut in the Punjabi film industry. It is evident from the chapter one of the trailer and the teaser of the film that Shinda Grewal will play a pivotal role in the movie. His innocent and heartwarming acting is definitely going to win the audience’s hearts. It is a rare scenario in the industry, that any artist encourages his young children for acting in films, but the talent machine Gippy Grewal, with his unconventional and fresh approach towards Punjabi cinema, leaves no stone unturned to bring talent forward.
Ardaas Karaan, like its first part, will be based on the concept of positive living and will show different stories and different aspects of life. The film will also explore the concept of generation gap which leads to conflict of opinions in many families. The movie highlights the power of Ardaas which means prayer and aims to stir a social change in the thinking of people. The heart touching teaser of the film is beautifully made and is recieving an overwhelming response from the audience.
