After being global, the Punjabi Film Industry is proceeding with films which carry a different zone, a different track, lot of comedy movies with beautiful punches and jokes which actually tickle your stomach and of course the films which carry a message and of course the films which have romance and comedy both commonly named as Rom-Com which is a good sign for the rise of the Punjabi Cinema. And under the series of these Rom-Coms films another feather is going to be added with name as “Ishq Khumari” which will be directed by Gurpal Sakhana. The film will be made under the banners of Glitterati and Sanjh Films and its Producers are Ashish Sharma and Sonia Mangat. The star cast of the film includes Yuvraj Hans, Happy Raikoti, Sonica Bhardwaj, Ritika Shyam, BN Sharma, Vindu Dara Singh, Upasana Singh, Minto, Swatantar Bharat, Anshu Sawhney, Rose J Kaur, Aman Dhaliwal, Sparsh Pathania. The story has been written by Sandeep Chinna, screenplay and dialogues of the film has been written by Sandeep Chinna, Minto and Akshay Singh.

The announcement of the film was done by its team here today. Renowned singer/actor Yuvraj Hans, Happy Raikoti lead actresses Sonica Bhardwaj and Ritika Shyam along with with Producers Ashish Sharma and Sonia Mangat and the Director Gurpal Sakhana interacted with the media on this film announcement which is going to be made under the banners of Glitterati and Sanjh Films and for which the shooting is going to start from 25th March, 2019.

The Director, Gurpal Sakhana, said, “We can’t reveal much about the story of the film at this moment but this film is going to be a mixture of entertaining punches and jokes with a Tadka of Romance too which is going to be enjoyed by the audience”. He further added, “I believe that film making is the greatest art and there is an unlimited scope of experiment and innovation for which I am completely ready now”.

The lead Actors Yuvraj Hans and Happy Raikoti, said, “We are happy to announce this film under this maiden Production Houses, Glitterati and Sanjh Films and about the movie as the name says, “Ishq Khumari”, we are sure that this one will entertain the audience to the to the fullest”.

The lead actresses, Sonica Bhardwaj and Ritika Shyam also added, that they are happy to be a part of this film and act with this versatile and melodious singers Yuvraj Hans and Happy Raikoti, we hope that this movie will do good the whole team.

They further added that the film will have five songs for which the music will be prepared by non other that Jay K (Jassi Katyal), the lyrics will be penned by Happy Raikoti and Shaan and the songs will be sung by the melodious and soulful voices of Yuvraj Hans, Happy Raikoti, Guru Randhawa, Khan Saab and Bohemia.
