The upcoming Punjabi film Shaunki Sardar received high praise at a grand press conference held in Delhi, where international diplomats and media came together to celebrate the film’s powerful message.
Representatives from several nations, including H.E. Mr. Mariano Agustin Caucino, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic; H.E. Mr. Antonio Maria De Jesus Dos Santos, Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Timor-Leste; Mr. Deogratius J. Dotto, Head of Chancery for the High Commission of Tanzania; Colonel Mr. Edison Kalyo Napyo, Defence Advisor of Papua New Guinea; Mr. Basem Hellis, Counsellor, Embassy of the State of Palestine; Mr. Abdirisak Seid Nur, Commercial Attaché, Embassy of Somalia; and Mr. Ayushman Pandey from the Media Department of the Embassy of Israel, attended the event and lauded the film.
Shaunki Sardar stars Punjabi music and film icons Babbu Maan and Guru Randhawa, along with powerhouse performers Guggu Gill, Nimrit Kaur Dhaliwal, Hashneen Chauhan, and Sunita Dhir. The film is directed by Dheeraj Kedarnath Rattan and produced by Ishaan Kapoor, Shah Jandiali, Dharminder Batouli, and Harjot Singh. The film is being produced under the banner of Zee Studios, Boss Musica Records Pvt Ltd in association with 751 Films.
With its gripping narrative, rooted in Punjabi culture and valor, the film aims to inspire audiences across the globe. The presence of such a diverse panel of international dignitaries at the launch highlights the film’s broad appeal and cultural significance.
Shaunki Sardar is set to release worldwide on May 16, 2025.
