Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua 2: Rhythm Boyz Entertainment have announced the sequel of their critically and commercially successful movie.

Much admired Punjabi movie titled 'Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua' (2018) has become the latest Punjabi movie to be converted into a franchise. While there wasn't any official announcement, the development came to light after the shooting of 'Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua 2' has begun in England.

The appreciated lead pair of Harish Verma and Simi Chahal will continue to play the titular characters in the second part. While Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua was a satire on demonetisation, the subject of the second part remains unknown as of now.

While the first part was directed by Ksshitij Chaudhary, Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua 2 is being directed by Janjot Singh. Having made his directorial debut in 'Chal Mera Putt' last year, Janjot's 'Chal Mera Putt 2' had released earlier this year.

Just like all the aforementioned movies, Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua 2 is also being made under the banner of Rhythm Boyz Entertainment. While the first part was written by Dheeraj Rattan, the writer of the second part hasn't been revealed till now.

Rakesh Dhawan, who had written the dialogues of the first part, is currently in England with the team. The same is a sign enough that he is part of the second part as well.
