Guddiyan Patole Trailer Review: Punjabi Mania presents before you the full trailer review of upcoming Punjabi movie named 'Guddiyan Patole'.
The notion of releasing a song before the trailer of the movie seems to be working well for Punjabi movies these days. The latest entrant in this list is 'Guddiyan Patole'. Releasing the title track a few days ago banged the drums in the best possible manner for its trailer.
The 201-second trailer eventually released in the morning on the official YouTube channel of Speed Records. At the time of writing this article, it has received in excess of three lakh views on the same platform.
In which is rare scenario in the Punjabi film industry, the movie stars two actresses in Sonam Bajwa and Tania as protagonists. Singer-turned-actor Gurnam Bhullar, who recently played a cameo in Pankaj Batra's 'High End Yaariyan', will be seen playing a lead role for the first time in Guddiyan Patole. Apart from this trio, the movie stars Nirmal Rishi, Gurpreet Bhangu, Rupinder Roopi and others.
The first thing which comes to mind after watching the trailer is the oodles of newness which it brings with it. The sight of three actresses majorly calling the shots has it in it to become an exemplary effort for others to take inspiration from.
It is evident from the trailer that the story of the movie is expected to revolve around two sisters (who have returned from Canada) and their maternal grandmother. While the trailer gives the impression of the movie addressing family issues which are relatable to many people in Punjab, it also gives hints of being a vehement and convoluted love story.
Vijay Kumar Arora, who directed the critically acclaimed 'Harjeeta' last year, has directed Guddiyan Patole. Jagdeep Sidhu, who had written the same movie, has penned down the script for this one as well. How will this duo perform this time will only be known on March 8.
