Vijay Kumar Arora is a name that needs no introduction in the punjabi industry as well as Bollywood. He has directed many hit punjabi films like Harjeeta and Ronde Saare Viaah Picchon and has been the cinematographer of many known Bollywood films like FALTU, Flying Jatt, Nawabzaade, Action Jackson and many more. The director will be coming up with one more Punjabi film in the coming year.

The film has been titled Surkhi Bindi and stars the ruling lady of the punjabi cinema Simi Chahal, who has won the audience’s heart with her brilliant work in films like Rabb Da Radio, Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua, Daana pani and her most recent release Bhajo Veero Ve. Popular Punjabi singer and heartthrob of the punjabi industry Gurnam Bhullar, who will make his debut with the upcoming film Guddiyan Patole opposite Sonam Bajwa in March, will play the main lead in Surkhi Bindi. The film is being made under the banner of Shri Narotam Ji Films and is being produced by Ankit Vijan, Navdeep Narula, Gurjit Singh and Santosh Subhash Thite.

Jagdeep Sidhu and Rupinder Inderjit have done the screenplay and have written the dialogues of the movie. Along with this, Rupinder Inderjit has also written the story of the film. The makers have not revealed the names of the supporting cast of the movie.

The first poster of the film is out and it discloses the release date of the film. The movie will hit the screens on 30 August 2019. Other than this film, Simi Chahal will also be seen in Gippy Grewal’s movie Manje Bistre 2 and Tarsem Jassar’s Rabb Da Radio 2 in the coming year. Gurnam Bhullar will seen in the film Valaiti Yantar in 2019. The fans are looking forward to the trailer release of the film.
