Singer, songwriter and actor Guru Randhawa is preparing for a major return to live performances, with his upcoming Delhi concert generating buzz over reports of robots being used as part of the stage production.
Videos circulating on social media appear to show specialised mechanical equipment during a technical recce at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JLN Stadium), ahead of the singer’s scheduled homecoming concert on December 12, 2026. The footage has fuelled speculation that the show could feature on-ground physical robots as part of its live experience.
If confirmed, the deployment would add a distinctive technological element to the concert, although claims that it would be the first event of its kind in India have not been independently verified.
‘The Sirra Era Live In Concert’ Set for December 12
Titled The Sirra Era Live In Concert, the event marks Randhawa’s return to the live stage after a three-year break from performances, according to the announcement.
The scale of the planned production appears consistent with the cinematic presentation featured in the concert’s official trailer. The show is also expected to draw on material from the singer’s 13-year musical journey, bringing together songs from across his career.
Randhawa’s previous live event in Rajasthan reportedly attracted a crowd of around 1.2 lakh people, setting a high benchmark for his upcoming performance.
Ticket Sales to Begin Next Week
Tickets for the Delhi concert are scheduled to go on sale next week through BookMyShow, giving fans an opportunity to secure places at the much-anticipated event.
The concert is being produced by Saregama Live in association with Warner Music and RTHYMS.
With anticipation building around the venue preparations and the possibility of robotics being incorporated into the production, Randhawa’s December show is shaping up to be a major event on his return to live performances. Further details about the concert’s staging and special features are awaited.
