He is consistent. He is unwavering. He is resolute. In what was just a matter of time, he converted his initial baby steps into substantial leapfrogs. He is Guru Randhawa. This hit-machine has become a reliable commodity for the music producers for they all are well-versed with both his ability and his popularity.
The debonair singer, who has been successful in building a fan base throughout the nation now, has come up with his latest single track, 'Lahore'. The much anticipated song was finally released today on the official YouTube channel of T-Series. At the time of writing this article, the song has received in vicinity of 3.5 million views and is trending at #11 on the same platform.
Randhawa has not just lent his voice to the song, he has also penned down its lyrics and made its composition. DirectorGifty has directed the music video. The song is musically directed by Vee Music. Cross flow Recordings (London) has done the mixing and the mastering of the song. Amit Syal has choreographed the video.
This peppy track is high on spirits and has already made a place for itself in the hearts and the playlists of not just the fans of Randhawa, but, other viewers as well. Call it his mesmeric voice which adds worth to his songs or his prepossessing mien which adds worth to his music videos, as it should be, Randhawa is making optimum use of his current form.
Randhawa made his debut in 2013 with the track, 'Chadd Gayi'. His super-hit track, 'Suit', saw him making a debut in Bollywood in the movie 'Hindi Medium'. He followed it up with 'Lagdi Hai Thaai' from the movie 'Simran' and 'Ban Ja Rani' from 'Tumhari Sulu'.
We, at Punjabi Mania, would like to wish him luck for all his future projects. If you haven't listened to Lahore yet, watch it below and tell us in the comments section about your views regarding the same.
