CHANDIGARH: Punjabi actor Harish Verma has spoken warmly about his experience of working with Kanika Mann in their upcoming film Lutt Mubarak, praising her performance and expressing an interest in sharing the screen with her again.
The film marks the actors' first collaboration, and Harish said he came away impressed by Kanika's approach to the role. Describing her as a “very good actor”, he praised the way she brought her character to life and handled her responsibilities on the project.
A Slap Scene That Took Multiple Takes
Recalling their time together on the sets, Harish also shared an amusing detail about an on-screen slap sequence involving the two actors.
According to him, the scene required several takes before they got it right. Despite the challenges involved in filming the sequence, he described the overall experience of working with Kanika as enjoyable.
Kanika Promises to Support Film's Promotion
Harish also spoke about Kanika's involvement in promoting Lutt Mubarak. He said the actor had assured him that she would make every possible effort from her side to help take the film to audiences.
The actor's comments come as Kanika is currently appearing as a contestant on Bigg Boss 20, bringing additional attention to her upcoming Punjabi film.
Harish Wants to Reunite on Screen
Having enjoyed their first collaboration, Harish said he would be happy to work with Kanika again in the future.
Lutt Mubarak is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 25, 2026, and brings the two actors together in what marks their first project as co-stars.
