Punjabi singer and actress Himanshi Khurana was visibly emotional as she joined the humanitarian organization Khalsa Aid in their ongoing relief efforts for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.
In a heartfelt video circulating on social media, Himanshi can be seen breaking down in tears while witnessing the harsh living conditions of the displaced community. The emotional moment captured the attention of fans and human rights supporters, highlighting the harsh realities faced by the refugees.
The actress, known for her strong voice on social issues, joined Khalsa Aid’s team in the refugee camps, where the organization has been providing food, clean water, shelter materials, and healthcare support to thousands of Rohingya families.
“I couldn’t stop myself from crying after seeing the pain in their eyes,” Himanshi said, in a statement later shared online. “Khalsa Aid’s work is nothing short of inspiring. The Rohingya refugees have been suffering in silence, and it’s our duty as human beings to stand with them.”
Khalsa Aid’s team welcomed her participation, stating that public figures like Himanshi can play a key role in raising awareness about forgotten humanitarian crises.
