Himanshi Khurana Responds to Asim Riaz’s ‘Fame Digger’ Remark: “Let’s Talk About Everything”

The ongoing public fallout between Himanshi Khurana and Asim Riaz has taken another turn after the former couple exchanged pointed remarks on social media following Himanshi’s recent revelations about their relationship.

The controversy began after Himanshi, during a podcast conversation with Paras Chhabra, spoke about her past relationship with Asim and claimed that she had been pressured to change her religion while they were together. Asim later rejected the allegation, maintaining that he had never forced her to convert.

The issue resurfaced when Asim appeared to take a swipe at Himanshi without naming her directly. In a social media post, he described a “fame digger” as someone who is more interested in a person's name, public image and status than in the relationship itself. He further suggested that such a person could treat a relationship as a career opportunity and claimed that a reputation built over years should not be used by someone else for personal gain.

Himanshi Says She Is Ready With Evidence

Himanshi responded to the remarks with a lengthy statement, making it clear that she was not prepared to remain silent if her personal experiences continued to be questioned or mocked.

She said she had always tried to maintain respect and discretion while speaking publicly about her life, including her Bigg Boss experience, spiritual journey and health-related struggles. According to her, she never presented the issue of “forceful conversion” herself as a public narrative and alleged that it was people and sections of the media who framed it that way.

However, she said the situation had changed after her health and personal struggles were allegedly being mocked.

In her response, Himanshi challenged the idea of discussing only selected claims and said she was willing to present what she described as evidence concerning the dispute.

She referred to CCTV footage and recordings, while also mentioning an incident from the early hours of November 27, 2023, and alleged violence that she said she had experienced.

Himanshi also pushed back against what she described as attempts to damage her reputation. She said she had maintained her dignity and shown respect and expected the same treatment in return.

“If you want to play the ‘proof’ game,” she wrote, calling for the matter to be discussed through facts, accountability and the complete version of events.

Personal Dispute Moves Into Public Domain

The exchange has once again brought the former couple's relationship under public scrutiny. Both Himanshi and Asim have previously spoken about their relationship and its eventual end, with their personal equation attracting considerable attention during and after their time in the public eye.

Himanshi, in her latest statement, also questioned why she should be criticised for sharing her own experiences and lessons when other public figures regularly speak about their personal journeys.

For now, neither side has publicly presented the alleged evidence in full. The latest statements remain claims made by the individuals involved, and the circumstances surrounding the allegations would require independent verification before they can be treated as established facts.
