Hina Khan’s Mother Shares Heartfelt Review of Shehnaaz Gill’s Ikk Kudi: “Bahut Achchi Lagi”

Shehnaaz Gill’s latest Punjabi release Ikk Kudi, which premiered last Friday, continues to win hearts across the country. The film has been garnering praise from both audiences and celebrities alike. Adding to the growing list of admirers, actor Hina Khan’s mother recently watched the film and shared her genuine thoughts — and it looks like she’s thoroughly impressed!

In a video posted by Hina on social media, she introduced her mother’s review with a playful caption, “Lo ji, verdict aa gaya! Film hit hai. My mom always gives honest feedback. Go enjoy your weekend and watch the film #IkkKudi.”

The clip shows Hina asking her mother for her opinion right after she returned from the screening. Hina’s mom smiles and replies, “Bahut achchi lagi. Shehnaaz ne bohot achha kaam kiya. Mujhe ‘Khaand Laggdi’ gaana sabse zyada pasand aaya. Last mein jo Sardar ji the, unhone bhi achha kaam kiya. Dadi ka role bhi dil ko chhoo gaya. Ant mein toh rona aa gaya.”

(Translation: “I really liked it. Shehnaaz performed very well. My favourite part was the song Khaand Laggdi. The Sardar ji who appeared towards the end was also great, and the grandmother’s role was very touching. I even got emotional in the end.”)

Sharing her mother’s heartfelt reaction, Hina encouraged fans to support the film in theatres, saying, “This is an honest review straight from the audience. Mom absolutely loved Ikk Kudi! It’s the second weekend—go watch it, you’ll love it too.”
