Hitesh Lucky Verma, the visionary founder of HLV Film City, has been officially appointed as the youngest member of the Film Media Committee by the Government of Punjab.
In an official communication, the government expressed its confidence in Mr. Verma’s leadership, innovative thinking, and dedication to Punjab’s industrial and creative growth. The Film Media Committee has been formed as part of a larger initiative by the Department of Industries & Commerce to develop sector-specific, transformational policies aimed at fostering innovation, sustainable growth, and employment in Punjab.
As a member of the committee, Mr. Verma will contribute towards building a comprehensive and competitive policy framework for the Film and Media industry in Punjab—drawing insights from leading industry practices across the country.
This appointment is a significant milestone for Mr. Verma, whose contributions through HLV Film City have already positioned Punjab as a key hub for cinematic excellence. The committee is expected to submit its policy recommendations by October 1, 2025.
