Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav began a new chapter in his personal life after marrying his childhood friend and long-time partner Vanshika in a grand wedding ceremony held in the hill town of Mussoorie on Saturday.
The wedding took place at the historic Welcomhotel The Savoy, where family members and close friends gathered to celebrate the couple’s union. The ceremony came just weeks after India retained its title at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup earlier this year.
Kuldeep and Vanshika had announced their engagement on June 4, 2025, during a private event in Lucknow. Their wedding in Mussoorie was organised as an intimate yet lavish affair set against the scenic Himalayan landscape.
The venue featured elegant ivory and gold decorations, creating a regal atmosphere for the traditional North Indian ceremony.
For the wedding, Kuldeep wore a beige-gold sherwani adorned with intricate embroidery and paired it with a matching turban embellished with a decorative kalgi. The cricketer completed his look with layered pearl necklaces.
Vanshika complemented the royal theme with a classic red lehenga richly embroidered with gold zari work. She accessorised her outfit with a traditional red chooda and an elaborate golden maang teeka, reflecting the timeless style of North Indian bridal attire.
Soon after the ceremony, congratulatory messages poured in from friends and well-wishers. Among them was Kuldeep’s teammate and close friend Yuzvendra Chahal, who shared his wishes for the newlyweds on social media.
The wedding celebration, blending tradition with a picturesque setting, quickly drew attention from cricket fans and followers online as the couple embarked on their married life together.
