Punjabi singer and actor Jassie Gill is all set to make his bollywood debut this year. He will be seen in the bollywood movie Happy Phirr Bhaag Jayegi which is a sequel to the 2016 hit movie ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’.
The sequel will release on 24 August. Jassie Gill will be seen sharing screen space with ace bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha. The star cast of the movie also includes Diana Penty, Jimmy Shergill, Ali Fazal, Abhay Deol and Piyush Mishra. The movie has been produced by Anand L. Rai and Krishika Lulla. Like it’s previous part, the sequel has also been directed by Mudassar Aziz.
The trailer of the movie has released and once again promises to provide rib tickling laughter. The trailer revolves around the confusion that takes place when a gang of Chinese goons are searching for ‘Happy’, the character that was played by Diana Penty in the previous film. The trailer is hilarious and promises a fresh story, funny screenplay and light hearted entertainment.
Jassie Gill who has played a character of a sardar boy in the movie has a decent screen space in the trailer and has done a fairly good job and it seems that his character will play a pivotal role in the film.Mudassar Aziz, the director of the movie, is very impressed by Jassie Gill’s performance and said, “I am thrilled to introduce the actor who had surprised me even before I had cast him, and left me speechless by the time I finished shoot. Welcome to the high seas veere! Tame the tides always!” for Jassie Gill.
In the film, Jassie Gill would be seen sharing screen space with Jimmy Shergill, who has done amazing work both in bollywood and pollywood. After doing movies like ‘Mr. And Mrs. 420’, Jassie Gill has already established himself as a fine actor in the Punjabi industry and now he is all set to spread his magic and win all hearts in bollywood as well. Currently, Jassie is shooting Pankaj Batra’s next movie along with Ranjeet Bawa and Ninja, in the UK. He would also be seen in ‘Mr and Mrs 420 Returns’ which will release on August 15.
Jassie Gill’s fans are looking forward to his bollywood debut. The trailer is getting a very positive response from the audience. It has already got more than 2.8 million views on YouTube and that too in a span of just 10 hours. It is trending on number 1 on YouTube since it’s release. The trailer has created a lot of buzz and suggests that this movie is going to be a pitaara of laughter and will be a full on entertainer.
