On the first death anniversary of renowned Punjabi actor and comedian Jaswinder Bhalla, his son Pukhraj Bhalla visited Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar along with his family to pay obeisance and remember the late actor.
The family offered prayers at the revered Sikh shrine and sought blessings on the occasion, marking a solemn day of remembrance for Jaswinder Bhalla.
Speaking during the visit, Pukhraj Bhalla said that visiting Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib had been a long-standing wish of the family. He said the family chose to come to the shrine on Jaswinder Bhalla’s first death anniversary to pray for his soul and remember him with faith and devotion.
“It was the long-standing wish of our family to visit Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib. Since today is his first death anniversary, we are here to pay obeisance and pray to the Almighty that wherever he is, he must stay happy,” Pukhraj Bhalla said.
The visit came as the family marked one year since the passing of the celebrated Punjabi artiste. Known for his distinctive comic timing and memorable performances, Jaswinder Bhalla remained a much-loved figure among Punjabi audiences.
For the family, the visit to the Golden Temple served as an occasion to offer prayers and seek spiritual solace while remembering his life and contribution to Punjabi entertainment.
