Punjabi Singers Jazzy B, Gippy Grewal, Diljit Dosanjh and Miss Pooja have been issued summons by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) under FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act). The singers have been given 15 days time to register their statements with the ED.
It has been learnt that the transactions related to Live Shows in foreign lands and overseas business of some Punjabi movies are under the scanner of ED. ED doubts the involvement of Hawala in these transactions.
It is worth mentioning that some while back, Gippy Grewal, Diljit Dosanjh and Miss Pooja’s residences were also raided by the Income Tax Department.
