Jind Mahi: The recently announced Punjabi movie will reunite a pair which had received a lot of appreciation in their previous movie titled 'Ardab Mutiyaran'.
Actors Sonam Bajwa and Ajay Sarkaria will reunite on-screen in upcoming Punjabi movie titled 'Jind Mahi'. Having worked together in Manav Shah's 'Ardab Mutiyaran' (2019), this will be the second time when Bajwa and Sarkaria will be seen together on the silver screens.
Punjabi Mania understands that Jind Mahi was on the cards for some time now. Had it not been for the COVID-19 pandemic, the movie would have been announced last year itself.
As was the case in Ardab Mutiyaran, Jind Mahi will also be produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu under the banner of White Hill Studios.
As of now, this is going to be Sarkaria's second Punjabi movie. Bajwa, on the other hand, will be working with White Hill for the ninth time in her eight-year old career.
Sonam Bajwa and Ajay Sarkaria to play lead role in Jind Mahi
Sameer Pannu, who has been the assistant director in White Hill's movies such as 'Carry On Jatta 2' (2018), 'Muklawa' (2019) and Ardab Mutiyaran, will be making his directorial debut with Jind Mahi. Readers must note that all the three movies had Bajwa as the lead actress.
It is worth mentioning that Pannu has also co-written the script and screenplay of the movie with producer Manmord Sidhu. The dialogues of the romantic movie have been written by Jatinder Lall.
