The trailer of the movie had released on the official YouTube channel of Times Music more than a month ago. At the time of writing this article, it has received in excess of 4.5 million views on the same platform.

Jinde Meriye will mark the second time coming together of actress Sonam Bajwa and actor Parmish Verma on the silver screen. However, it is the first time that both of them have worked with Batra. Apart from the lead couple, the movie also stars Yuvraj Hans, Navneet Kaur Dhillon, Hobby Dhaliwal, Anita Devgan, Hardeep Gill, Malkeet Rauni and Ravinder Mand.

Jinde Meriye Preview

Initially introduced as a picturesque love story, the trailer and songs did utmost justice to its genre. Having said that, the recently released song titled ‘Glock’ adds another facet to the movie in the name of action. With Verma helming the same, it is more likely to be executed in an apt manner.

While Bajwa and Verma’s on-screen chemistry looks pleasing to the eye in the trailer and the songs, how well Batra’s script portrays them will only be known after watching the movie in the cinema halls tomorrow, i.e., January 24.

Jinde Meriye has been produced by Pankaj Batra, Ashu Munish Sahni, Aniket Kawade, Preeta Batra and Amandeep Singh under the banners of Pankaj Batra Films, Omjee Star Studios and Nuclear Productions.

The movie is likely to receive some competition from Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s ‘Panga’ and Remo D’Souza’s ‘Street Dancer 3D’. That being said, the lack of Punjabi movies in the recent past will give it a certain advantage in North India.
