Mandeep Benipal directorial Kakaji is one of the much awaited films of this year. The movie which stars Dev Kharoud in the main lead has already created a lot of buzz, even before it’s release. The trailer of the movie received a great response from the audience and all the three tracks which have been released by the makers are also receiving a lot of love from the fans.

Other than Dev Kharoud, the movie also stars Aarushi Sharma, Jagjeet Sandhu, Lucky Dhaliwal, Dheeraj Kumar, Gurmeet Saajan and Ashish Duggal. The movie is being produced by Ravneet Chahal and Rajesh Kumar, under the banner of Dream Reality Movies. Gill Raunta had penned down the story of the film.

The movie appears to be an altogether blend of genres. It is evident from the trailer of the movie that it will be a prototype movie comprising of nuances and emotions from all spheres of life. Playing the antagonist in the movie, it will be intriguing to see Kharoud’s new journey of sorts.

The movie will release on 18 January this year and it will be distributed by the renowned White Hill Studios. Other than India, the movie will be widely distributed in Pakistan and Dubai. Kakaji will be one of the biggest Punjabi film release in Pakistan. Punjabi films usually get great overseas response, especially from pakistan, where the audience thoroughly enjoys Punjabi cinema. Most of the films which recently released in Pakistan have done great business there and the makers are looking forward for a similar response for this film also.
