Punjabi music star Karan Aujla has found himself at the centre of an online controversy after a screenshot of an alleged social media post sparked widespread debate. The image, which quickly went viral, appeared to show the singer declaring himself bisexual, prompting speculation and discussion across platforms.
The buzz intensified as several users claimed the post had been deleted shortly after being shared, adding to the confusion and fuelling conversations about its authenticity. Within hours, the topic began trending, drawing reactions from fans and social media users alike.
Addressing the situation, Aujla’s team has now issued a clarification, firmly denying any connection between the singer and the viral post. According to the statement, the account shown in the circulating screenshot is not genuine and does not belong to the artist. The team has urged fans to disregard the claim, calling it misleading.
Notably, Aujla himself has not made any direct public comment regarding the controversy so far.
Born as Jaskaran Singh Aujla, the artist has built a strong presence in the Punjabi music scene with a series of chart-topping tracks. Known for blending contemporary beats with traditional Punjabi influences, he has attracted a wide fan base both in India and internationally.
On the personal front, Aujla married his longtime partner, Palak Aujla, in a private ceremony held in Mexico in 2023.
Despite the current controversy, the singer continues to be recognised for his musical achievements, with popular songs like Softly, Admiring You, and Bachke Bachke contributing to his growing global appeal.
