After facing a brief delay, the much-anticipated Punjabi film Khushkhabri is finally ready to arrive in theatres in India. The makers have officially confirmed that the movie will now release in India on April 24, 2026, giving fans a fresh date to look forward to. Earlier, the film could only release overseas on April 17, 2026.
Starring Binnu Dhillon and Payal Rajput in lead roles, the film had earlier been postponed due to a technical issue during its final stages of production. While the exact nature of the snag was not disclosed, sources close to the team indicated that it required additional time to ensure the film meets quality expectations.
The announcement of the new release date has generated renewed excitement among audiences, especially fans of the lead actors. Known for his impeccable comic timing, Binnu Dhillon has consistently delivered crowd-pleasing performances, while Payal Rajput brings strong screen presence and versatility to her roles.
Khushkhabri is expected to blend humor, drama, and emotional storytelling—elements that have traditionally resonated well with Punjabi cinema audiences. With the technical hurdles now resolved, the production team appears confident about delivering a polished final product.
As the new release date approaches, promotions for the film are likely to pick up pace, building anticipation across the region and beyond.
