Bollywood couple Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are set to embrace parenthood once again. The actors announced that they are expecting their second child in a joint social media post on Wednesday, sharing the news with their fans in an intimate and emotional way.
The announcement featured a close-up photograph of intertwined hands, with their daughter’s little hands holding a pair of miniature socks. Alongside the picture, the couple expressed their happiness and gratitude, writing, “Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude.”

The actress was admitted to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai’s Girgaon area for the delivery. The couple later revealed their daughter’s name as Saraayah Malhotra.
Kiara had also embraced motherhood publicly during a memorable appearance at the Met Gala last year, where she proudly showed off her baby bump. She attended the event in a striking creation by designer Gaurav Gupta.
The couple’s own love story began while working together on the 2021 film Shershaah. Despite their growing relationship during the production, both actors managed to keep their romance largely away from the public eye. They eventually tied the knot on February 7, 2023, in an intimate and picturesque ceremony at Suryagarh Palace in Rajasthan.
Kiara later shared an amusing account of their engagement on Koffee With Karan Season 8. During her conversation with host Karan Johar, she revealed that Sidharth had proposed to her during a trip to Rome, where they were vacationing with their families.
Recalling the proposal, Kiara said Sidharth began quoting dialogue from Shershaah before asking her to marry him. His dramatic recreation of his character’s lines left her laughing during what was otherwise an emotional moment.
On the professional front, Sidharth was most recently seen in the folklore-inspired fantasy The Vvaan, while Kiara’s latest release was Yash-starrer Toxic.
