Jatinder Singh Jeetu's 'Kirdar-e-Sardar' is all set to hit the big screens tomorrow, i.e., 29/09/2017. With Dusshera and Gandhi Jayanti scheduled on September 30 and October 2 respectively, the movie will undergo a prolonged holiday weekend. The makers of the movie would be glad because not every time do you get an opportunity to release your movie during such an extended weekend.
The fact that no other Punjabi movie is slotted to release on this weekend is also likely to work in favour of Kirdar-e-Sardar. However, it will receive healthy competition from David Dhawan's 'Judwaa 2'. From the makers to the star cast to being a sequel to the 1997-blockbuster movie 'Judwaa', Judwaa 2 has all what it takes to be a successful venture.
As the name suggests, Kirdar-e-Sardar is based on the roles and responsibilities of a sikh individual in the modern times. One can see from the trailer that the movie revolves around boxing. It is likely to be about the difference between right or wrong and how a sikh would react or not let go of his stand in order to gain his rights from the society.
As mentioned above, Jatinder Singh Jeetu has directed the movie. Nav Bajwa and Neha Pawar are playing the lead roles in the movie. The movie will mark the debut of Pawar in the Punjabi movie industry. Erstwhile Punjabi singer, K.S. Makhan, is playing the role of Bajwa's father in the movie. Famed names in the Hindi and Punjabi movie industry, Raza Murad and Dolly Bindra, will also be seen in the movie.
Apart from all these names, Harpreet Singh Khehra, Gurpreet Kaur Chadha, Rana Jung Bahadur, Deedar Gill, Barinder Dhapai and Mahabir Bhullar will be seen playing vital roles in the movie. The movie is produced by Happs Music and Jaswinder Kaur under the banner of Ohri Productions. It is co-produced by Gurpreet Kaur Chadha.
The story and the dialogues of the movie have been written by Kudrat Pal. It has been edited by B. Rampal and music has been composed by Daljeet Singh. The songs have been written by Vikram Jeet, Bal Butala, Yakub and Manpreet Tiwana and have been sung in the voices of Nachattar Gill, Nooran Sisters, Lehmber Hussainpuri and Harshdeep Kaur.
