Yesterday we informed you about the shooting of Anurag Singh’s dream project ‘1984 – Punjab’ is beginning on August 28, 2013. Now we have the information that the film that is going on floors in 6 days time features Kulraj Randhawa opposite Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles. The film also features Bollywood Actors Kirron Kher and Pawan Malhotra who mark their debut in Punjabi Cinema.

Kulraj Randhawa who has been seen earlier in Punjabi films like Tera Mera Ki Rishta and Mannat, will now return to Punjabi Cinema after 6 long years. ‘1984-Punjab’ is also Anurag Singh’s first take at Serious Cinema after making 3 Back to Back Comedies. The film is produced by Gunbir Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu under the banner of White Hill Productions.

The film is slated for a release on Vaisakhi in April 2014.
